As the Commander of the most strategically significant logistics operation in the Western Pacific theater of Japan, I was responsible for and managed over 200 personnel, $400M in infrastructure, facilities and annual operating budget for an operation whose expanse included bulk fuel storage and distribution management, contract management, hazardous material procurement and disposal, shipyard repair management, material transportation and distribution, and global logistics supply chain management
for all naval ships and submarines operating in the Pacific Fleet. The success of my leadership was on full display and made public headlines, as my Command was the primary logistics integrator that was called upon to provide direct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the 300,000 displaced victims of the recent eastern Japan earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis that occurred on March 11, 2011.
Reviewed and strategized quarterly war game exercises and managed the scheduling of military personnel and supplies during the North Korea Missile Crisis.

My work provided Alliance forces a strategic advantage against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia which included successful underwater mine clearing in the Adriatic Sea and humanitarian relief in Albania and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Chief Logistics Officer on USS CAVALLA (SSN 684/Pacific Fleet based nuclear powered submarine) (Pearl Harbor, Hawaii)

Worked as the Chief Logistics Officer on a nuclear powered submarine that conducted strategic deterrence patrols in the western Pacific Ocean that included negotiating and awarding all service contracts during port visits to foreign host nations, provided financial management and budget accounting for the multi-million dollar submarine operating budget and conducted all material procurement, storage, transportation and distribution for material and repair parts in support of all submarine facilities and equipment to include the nuclear reactor. Provided superior food service management 24 hours, and 7 days per week for all 150 submarine personnel.

Managed 10 personnel and managed a $17M annual base operations budget in support of a state of the art underwater missile range. My duties included operations contracts and service contracts management; aviation material and engine repair management; warehouse storage, transportation and distribution management; aviation fuel and ship’s fuel management; household goods storage, transportation and distribution management and food service management.

Managed 20 personnel and managed the accounting of a $2M annual budget in support of all retail operations on board a U.S. Navy vessel that conducted strategic force protection patrols in the southern Pacific Ocean. The expanse of my duties in support of retail operations included vending machines management, video game machines management, retail store operations management, postal operations management and ATM operations management.

Awarded for superior performance as the chief assessment officer, while assigned to the Defense Logistics Agency, responsible for reporting, tracking and analyzing performance data and indicators and succeeded in maximizing all analytical resources to capitalize on all resource opportunities to improve production and end-item product delivery for all customers.
Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards) (December 2003 & April 2006)
Awarded for superb performance while assigned to the Pentagon in the complex budget and programming process environment by performing expert planning, programming and budget assessment resulting in increased productivity and cost savings measures for the US Navy.
